Comedians always love taking jabs at politicians and Tr3s fave George Lopez is no exception. This week, he chimed in on Washington’s government shutdown, claiming “Mexicans should take over.”
TMZ caught the funnyman on the streets of New York, where he openly expressed his opinions about Obama. Though his words were clearly meant as a joke, he got several locals to applaud his “Brown Party” movement.
“We should shut the government down and let the Mexicans take over,” he enthusiastically said. “We’re running everything anyway.”
Clearly George knows how to work a crowd, and this isn’t the first time he’s been associated with politics. Back in 2011, Lopez said he may someday run for mayor. Perhaps, he should use the “Mexican” agenda as his next big campaign platform.
